Brand AI

Train FOMOwl to be an expert on your project.

Overview

Brand AI uses RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) to answer user questions based on your specific documentation, whitepaper, and website content.

Available on AI Only & Premium Plans

How it Works

1. Training

Upload your knowledge base files (Text, Markdown, PDF, DOCX) via the dashboard. The AI indexes this information to understand your project. Keep files focused on a single topic for best recall.

2. Interaction

When users reply to the bot or mention it, the AI searches your knowledge base to provide accurate, context-aware answers. On Premium/AI Only tenants, it will NOT fall back to the FOMOwl brief—only your brand message + KB.

Setup Checklist

  1. Plan: Ensure the tenant is on AI Only or Premium.
  2. Persona: Set your Brand Message with name, tone, and guardrails (e.g., “Don’t discuss prices or other projects”).
  3. Knowledge: Upload KB files (TXT/MD/PDF/DOCX). Use one topic per file: tokenomics, roadmap, security, team, FAQs.
  4. Test: Mention the bot or reply to it in Discord/Telegram. It should answer only with your KB and brand message.
  5. Update: Replace files when data changes (supply, roadmap dates, pricing). Remove stale files to avoid old answers.

If the bot can't find an answer in your KB, it will say it's unsure instead of inventing details.

Persona Customization

You can customize the bot's personality to match your brand voice using the System Message.

Configuration Options

  • System Message: This is the core instruction set for your AI. Use it to define:
    • Identity: "You are OwlCrier, a helpful assistant for the FOMOwl project."
    • Tone: "Be professional but friendly." or "Speak like a pirate."
    • Rules: "Always mention our roadmap when asked about future plans."

Best Practices

  • Keep it Updated: Re-upload documents when your whitepaper or roadmap changes.
  • Be Specific: In custom instructions, clearly state what the bot should not do (e.g., "Do not give financial advice").
  • Test Frequently: Use the dashboard playground or DM the bot to verify its knowledge.
  • Moderation: Keep the bot role above members (Discord) or as admin (Telegram) so replies and commands work.
