Automated filters to keep your community clean from spam and abuse.

Overview

Spam detection runs automatically on every message. If a message violates the rules, it is deleted, and the user may be warned or muted depending on your configuration.

Filters

Link Limits

Restricts the number of links allowed in a single message.

Mention Limits

Prevents mass-mention spam by limiting how many users can be tagged in one message.

Repeated Characters

Detects and blocks messages with excessive repeated characters (e.g., "Heeeeeeey").

Profanity & Blacklist

Blocks messages containing profanity or custom blacklisted words.

  • Custom Words: Add specific words or phrases to block via the Dashboard.
  • Actions: Choose to Warn the user or simply Delete the message.
  • Note: Users are not automatically banned for these violations.

Configuration

Spam detection settings are managed via the web dashboard.

  1. Go to the Dashboard.
  2. Select your community.
  3. Navigate to Moderation.
  4. Enable Spam Detection and adjust the thresholds.
